The United Arab Emirates has recently delivered a significant load of humanitarian aid to Gaza, consisting of 980 tonnes of essential supplies. This substantial shipment, transported by 62 aid trucks, includes food, medical supplies, and shelter materials aimed at supporting civilians impacted by the ongoing conflict in the region.
These relief supplies were meticulously prepared at the UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Centre located in Al Arish, Egypt, under the initiative known as Operation Gallant Knight 3. Since the commencement of this operation in October 2023, the UAE has been actively involved in providing assistance through various means, including land, air, and sea routes.
Beyond the delivery of goods, the UAE’s efforts have extended to establishing medical facilities and organizing the evacuation of thousands of injured and critically ill patients, ensuring they receive necessary treatment. This comprehensive approach underscores the UAE’s commitment to addressing the urgent humanitarian needs in Gaza.
