The United Arab Emirates Urban Search and Rescue team has once again achieved the prestigious “heavy” classification from the International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG), a recognition affiliated with the United Nations. This marks the third time the team from the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority has attained this elite status, further solidifying the UAE’s reputation for excellence in emergency preparedness and disaster response operations.
President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his congratulations to the team, commending their professionalism, dedication, and operational readiness.
