As more than 1.2 million students in the United Arab Emirates embark on a new academic year, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan extended a warm welcome to the returning pupils. In his message, Sheikh Mohamed emphasized the pivotal role that young people play as the “future of the nation,” urging students to concentrate on continuous learning and the development of skills that will prepare them for the future. The new academic year marks the reopening of over 1,180 public and private schools across the UAE, with several new institutions joining the burgeoning education sector of the nation.
