by admin477351

In a significant humanitarian gesture, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has mandated the release of 836 prisoners from various nationalities. This decision comes ahead of the Eid Al Adha celebrations, offering these individuals a chance to reunite with their families and reintegrate into society.

The initiative underscores Sheikh Mohammed’s commitment to spreading joy among families and providing a fresh start for those who have been incarcerated. By granting these pardons, he aims to facilitate a positive reintegration process for the former prisoners, thereby enhancing community cohesion.

Dubai’s Attorney General, Chancellor Essam Issa Al Humaidan, confirmed that the Dubai Public Prosecution is already coordinating with Dubai Police to carry out the necessary legal procedures to enforce the Ruler’s directive. This collaborative effort ensures that the order is implemented efficiently and that those pardoned can return to their communities in a timely manner.

The gesture is particularly significant as it coincides with the religious and cultural festivities of Eid Al Adha, a time traditionally associated with forgiveness and new beginnings. The release of prisoners is intended to not only bring relief to the individuals involved but also to offer hope and happiness to their families during this festive period.
