UAE Readies 21st Humanitarian Ship to Deliver Vital Aid to Gaza

by admin477351

The United Arab Emirates is preparing to dispatch its 21st humanitarian ship to support civilians in Gaza, continuing its extensive relief campaign that began shortly after the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war in 2023. The UAE Humanitarian Ship will carry essential supplies, coordinated with various charitable organizations, to deliver urgent food, medical, and shelter aid to Palestinians affected by the ongoing conflict.

While officials have not disclosed the ship’s departure point or destination, previous UAE aid vessels have docked at Egypt’s Al Arish Port before transferring supplies into Gaza. The operation comes amid growing international efforts to reinforce the recently announced Gaza peace plan spearheaded by U.S. President Donald Trump.

The Emirates has been among the most active contributors of humanitarian assistance to Gaza, sending 20 prior aid ships loaded with food, medical equipment, and ambulances. In September, the UAE’s Hamdan ship delivered over 7,000 tonnes of aid supplies, including provisions for community kitchens and emergency health services.

The latest relief mission underscores the UAE’s long-term commitment to alleviating the humanitarian crisis and supporting regional peace efforts. As both sides cautiously adhere to the new cease-fire agreement, the UAE’s continued involvement highlights its role as a steady humanitarian and diplomatic partner in the region.
